We were bloggers once.

 

Normal, garden variety intellectual bloggers, writing about music, economics, movies, politics, sports, travels, immigrant life, our cities (the island for Mockingword and the valley(s) for Retrosexual), and other things around our little lives which generally tend to interest you, dear reader.  

 

We were well known (Mword). We were almost famous (Retro).

 

We were linked to blogs, we were part of discussion chains, we were Desipunditted and even brickbatted. First-name flashing, bloggers’ meet attending, we were well on our way to blog-stardom….

 

And then, we moved on ….

 

We are not the same bloggers anymore. We are not the same people…

 

So then, here you go… The lesser beat. Two running commentaries….. The Ballad of Mockingword and Retrosexual.
